We Know the Only Answer to Our Broken World is Jesus

My heart brakes for the persecuted peoples of my homeland, Pakistan.

But did you know that God is raising up evangelists like me throughout the 10-40 Window and that, for the first time in history, you can connect with us directly?

It used to be that evangelism required travel over great distances or working with international organizations. Usually, partners like you were far removed from the process. It was hard to communicate the love of God, or even to communicate at all.

But through the Internet, you and I can chat live. We can work almost side-by-side to help build God's Kingdom. We can exchange pictures and get to one another.

Let Me Introduce Myself...

Have You Heard of Lahore?

Thanks for your interest. I'll start off with my background. I heard Jesus' call and am answering, village by village, brick kiln by brick kiln, one child of God at a time. Although I was was raised as a Christian in the province of Punjab on the outskirts of Lahore, Pakistan's second largest city after Karachi, I didn't know too much about the Bible or what it means to be in relationship with Jesus. I was interested in medicine and received my undergraduate degree at Christian Institute Raiwind, then my medical degree at Ace Institute of Health Sciences.

A Strange Dream
I became a general practitioner at Sharif Medical City Hospital. I liked helping our hospital patients, but God had different patients in mind for me. Once during a noon rain I fell into a deep sleep and dreamt about Mark 16....

"Whoever believes and is baptized is saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned. These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: they will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.” -- Jesus Christ in Mark 16:16-18 of The Message

I awoke deeply saddened by this dream and wondering why it was so vivid. I opened the Bible and, as I began to read this chapter that had come to mind so unexpectedly, I realized that it's all about evangelism and baptism and why they are so important. From that day, I started to devote more time to God. I described the dream to a pastor, Sadique, who told me that God wants to use me for His great work and that I must be baptized. I asked him  to baptize me and began to study the Bible in depth.

Signs for the 10-40 Window
Then I knew I had been called to bring the good news of Jesus Christ according to Mark 16. Visions like this are happening now all over the 10-40 Window as God is truly doing a great work. I left my position at the hospital and applied for ministry registration, which is not easy to get in our Muslim state of Pakistan. But, by the grace of God, Cross Power Ministries of Pakistan has been registered successfully and we were presented our Ministry Registration Certificate.

The message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the Power of God (1 Corinthians 1:8). We are endeavoring to reach unreachable people with the Word of God and the love of God and by the grace of God I will continue this great work till my last breath. As we go, we serve the helpless--widows, orphans, the handicapped and the slaves of the brick kilns and other places. We introduce them to  Jesus Christ the Saviour, and, together, We heal the sick, according to my lifelong dream, my Mark 16 dream and the signs that accompany the evangelism of the 10-40 Window.

What is the 10-40 Window?
The 10/40 Window is located from 10 degrees south to 40 degrees north of the equator and is the home to nearly 4 billion people or two-thirds of the world's population, including 90 percent of the world's poorest of the poor. It comprises 69 nations across northern Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia and includes the seat of every major non-Christian religion - Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism, Atheism, and Sikhism. The Window International Network estimates that 1.6 billion of these people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ even one time. This evangelical nonprofit lists some startling statistics below:

  • 95% of these 4 billion people are unevangelized.
  • 87% are the poorest of the poor, living on an average of only $250 per family annually.
  • In many of the 69 nations, including Pakistan, witnessing the Christian Gospel is illegal and will result in imprisonment or death.
  • 45 of the 50 worst countries in the world for persecution of Christians are in the 10/40 Window.
  • Child prostitution and child slavery run rampant in many of these nations.
  • Horrific abuse of women and children remains unchecked, including an epidemic of pedophilia.
  • A majority of the world's terrorist organizations are based in the 10/40 Window, and children as young as 18 months old are trained to be Jihad soldiers.

Though the needs are both desperate and urgent, only 5¢ out of every $100 spent on missions globally is directed toward the 10/40 Window, which means that only 0.0005% of all missions money designated to bring the Gospel to 66% of the world's population.

“Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce
the Message of God’s good news to one and all."

-- Jesus Christ in Mark 16:15 of The Message
